What is craft ice?

Every piece is meticulously filtered and thoughtfully made so the only thing you taste is your drink, not your ice.

How is Big Boy Ice™ made?

Very carefully. And a little obsessively.

We start with ultra-pure water, filtered through a six-stage reverse osmosis system to remove impurities. That water is then frozen for more than 36 hours in a specialized Clinebell freezer, forming a single 300-pound block of crystal-clear ice. From there, each cube and sphere is hand-cut into its final form.

How long will Big Boy Ice last?

Stored properly, Big Boy Ice can live happily in your freezer for months—though most people don’t have the patience to wait that long.

Once tempered, our ice keeps drinks cold 2–3 times longer than standard freezer cubes. Less dilution, more sipping. Everyone wins.

How do I separate ice that is stuck together?

Easy there, big guy—no smashing required.

If your cubes or spheres stick together, don’t bang them or run them under hot water (that’s how cracks happen). Instead, gently insert an ice pick or knife along the seam. The metal contact will naturally encourage the ice to separate cleanly and calmly.

What should I do if my ice looks cloudy or frosty?

That’s likely freezer burn, and it happens to the best of us.

The fix is simple: temper the ice by letting it sit at room temperature for a few minutes. This often restores clarity. Avoid hot water—it can cause stress fractures and ruin the vibe.
