Restauranteurs Tom Lawrie and his wife Teresa built their reputation creating places people return to again and again—Sons of Liberty Alehouse in San Leandro and Livermore (with Lebanon, Tennessee on the way), and Honeycomb Cocktail Lounge in Livermore. Each space was designed as a destination, where craftsmanship matters and details aren’t optional.
One detail kept rising to the top of every cocktail program: ice.
High-quality cocktails demand more than good spirits and thoughtful technique—they demand ice that’s crystal clear, dense, and perfectly shaped. The kind that chills without diluting. The kind that looks as good as it performs. As their bars grew busier and their standards stayed high, sourcing enough premium ice at consistent quality became a real challenge.
So Tom did what hospitality people do best: he solved it himself.
